Lifeline is a government program that grants eligible individuals a credit each month on their phone bill. Millions of Americans benefit from this credit, and Cricket is excited to offer it to our customers.
The Cricket Lifeline Credit is a new program for Cricket, and is currently available to residents of Cricket markets in the following states. Click your state for more information.
You first apply for the Cricket Lifeline Credit, and if your application is approved, you receive a credit each month on your wireless phone bill.
The Cricket Lifeline Credit works with your existing Cricket Wireless service. You can keep your current rate plan and features, and continue to use your phone as usual, but with the Cricket Lifeline Credit, you’ll get a credit off your monthly amount due. You can also change to any current, Cricket Wireless rate plan if you’d like; there is no charge to make this change.
Link-Up is part of the Lifeline program, and grants eligible individuals a 50% credit of their new account activation fee. Cricket no longer charges account activation fees, so our customers are not eligible at this time.
