If you are already a Cricket Wireless customer, you can keep your current plan. You can also change to any current, Cricket Wireless rate plan if you’d like; there is no charge to make this change. New customers must choose a current, Cricket Wireless rate plan.

You first apply for the Cricket Lifeline Credit, and if your application is approved, you receive a credit each month on your wireless phone bill.
The Cricket Lifeline Credit works with your existing Cricket Wireless service. You can keep your current rate plan and features, and continue to use your phone as usual, but with the Cricket Lifeline Credit, you’ll get a credit off your monthly amount due. You can also change to any current, Cricket Wireless rate plan if you’d like; there is no charge to make this change.
