Am I covered when I travel?
details
Cricket has you covered in every Cricket coverage area and premium extended coverage area. Check the map to see what the coverage is like where you are traveling.
If Premium Extended Coverage is not included in your plan, but you will be traveling to a premium extended coverage area, you can add it for only $5 per month.

How do I know I am in my home coverage area?
details
When you are in your home coverage area, or any coverage area that is included in your plan, all of your normal Cricket® services and features should be available.
When you are outside of your home coverage area, or other coverage area that is included in your plan, you will see a roaming indicator on your phone. This varies by phone. Some use the letter "R", some say "Roaming", some display an icon.
How do I know if I have a tri-band phone?
details
Tri-band phones have a small symbol, or icon, on the back. The icon looks like three sets of radio waves going out from a point, and says "TRI-BAND" just below the symbol.
How do I know if I am roaming?
details
When you are outside of areas included in your plan, you will see a roaming indicator on your phone. This looks different on different phones. Some use the letter "R", some say "Roaming", some display an icon. Your owner's manual will tell you exactly how your phone shows that you are roaming.
When you see the roaming indicator, any calls you make or receive will be charged at the roaming rate. If your plan does not have any roaming minutes you will simply not be able to make or receive the call - no surprises on your bill!
The coverage map shows the scope of the calling areas. Maps depicts an approximation of service coverage. Actual coverage area may differ substantially from map graphics and may be affected by such things as terrain, weather, foliage, buildings, signal strength, customer equipment and other factors. Coverage indoors may also vary. Cricket does not guarantee coverage. Data is copyrighted by American Roamer, LLC. ©2009 Cricket Communications, Inc. 2259A1 12/08
