Cricket has you covered in every Cricket coverage area and premium extended coverage area. Check the map to see what the coverage is like where you are traveling.
If Premium Extended Coverage is not included in your plan, but you will be traveling to a premium extended coverage area, you can add it for only $5 per month.
If your plan includes US long distance, you can call anyone, on any network (cell phone or landline), anywhere in the United States, unlimited.
If your plan does not include US long distance, you can still call anyone, anywhere, at anytime, however standard long distance rates would apply. Roaming charges may also apply.
All voice and text messaging features are available in the unlimited wireless and premium extended coverage areas. All data features (i.e. mobile web, mobile email, picture messaging, etc) are available in the data coverage areas represented on the data coverage maps.
When you are outside of areas included in your plan, you will see a roaming indicator on your phone. This looks different on different phones. Some use the letter "R", some say "Roaming", some display an icon. Your phone user manual will tell you exactly how your phone shows that you are roaming.
When you see the roaming indicator, any calls you make or receive will be charged at the roaming rate. If your plan does not have any roaming minutes you will simply not be able to make or receive the call - no surprises on your bill!
Tri-band phones have a small symbol, or icon, on the back. The icon looks like three sets of radio waves going out from a point, and says "TRI-BAND" just below the symbol.
