“Text to Pay” is an easy way to pay your bill using the text messaging feature on your phone. If you have a monthly account, you’ll receive a text message before your due date asking you if you want to pay your bill using a credit card, debit card, or bank account previously used to pay your bill on file. Simply reply to the message with *PAY and the last four digits of the account you wish to use to pay your bill; it’s that easy!
No. “Text to Pay” is a free service, and will not cost you anything to send or receive messages from your Cricket phone.
Yes, if the text message you send to us is not in the correct format, you’ll receive an error. To pay your Wireless account using “Text to Pay”:
Send a text message to “*PAY” with the last 4 digits of a previously used credit card, debit card or bank account. Example: *PAY 2468.
No. You must have already successfully paid your bill using a credit card, debit card or bank account before you can pay using the “Test to Pay” service.
No. Once you successfully make a payment using a credit card, debit card, or bank account, you will automatically be able to pay using the “Text to Pay” service.
If you don’t use the correct format, we’ll send you a text message back with instructions on how to make a successful “Text to Pay” payment.
We’ll send you a text message after the payment has successfully completed. If there is a problem, we’ll also let you know via text message.
No. Although Cricket Broadband does support text messaging, *PAY is not supported. The best place to make a payment to your Broadband account is online on your My Account.
