Android applications store information in cache and data files. Typically your browser, mail, Gmail, and social media applications have the largest cache. Removing cache will remove temporary files but will not remove your application or application settings. Clearing data is similar to uninstalling and reinstalling an application. Please note: It will reset all of your settings as well as removing log-ins and saved information.
Go to Menu
Select Settings within the Android Menu
Select Applications (Each smartphone may be slightly different, so select the options for Applications, ie Apps.)
Select Storage Use
Select the App you wish to remove the data or clear cache
