If your plan includes US long distance, you can call anyone, on any network, at any time in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Canada. If your plan does not include US long distance, you can still call anyone, anywhere, at any time, however standard long distance rates apply. Roaming charges may also apply.
All voice functionality and text messaging available in your rate plan is available in the Talk and Text coverage areas. All data features (e.g., mobile web, picture messaging, Muve Music downloads, etc.) are available in the data coverage areas represented on the data coverage maps.
You can tell if you are roaming if you see the roaming indicator on your phone (this may be the letter R, the word Roaming, or a roaming icon). In addition, if you place a call while roaming you will hear the announcement “Welcome to Nationwide Roaming.”
