The first time you launch Cricket Navigator, you will be asked to accept an End User License Agreement. After this, you will be able to set up your privacy settings. Lastly, Cricket Navigator will remind you to turn the location setting to Location On.

“Fastest” routes are selected based on estimated travel time. They are faster to drive but can be longer in distance. “Shortest” routes are selected based on total travel distance. They can take longer to traverse due to speed limits. “Simplest” routes contain the fewest possible turns but may take longer to drive and may be longer in distance than other route options.

Use the Track Ball to highlight an option you want to change, and use the Track ball to toggle the option on or off. A checked box means that your routes will be calculated to avoid that type of road. When done, press OK to save the settings.

Yes, you can pan the map by pressing the 5-way switch up, down, left or right. You can zoom the map by pressing the OK button, then scrolling left or right to the appropriate zoom level and pressing OK again.
Yes, Cricket Navigator allows you to store your Home address and Work address within My Places. In addition, you can save any search result, or any address you enter, into your favorites by selecting Options (right soft key) and then selecting Save to Favorites.

First, check your coverage. If you are in good coverage, go to “Message” click the (RSK) “Options” and select “Check New MSG.” This will pull any pending messages to your phone.

Press Set (Left Soft Key) so that the box next to the option is checked. Press OK to save the setting. When viewing your GPS position on a map, an oval defines the margin of error of your GPS reading, so that your actual location should be within the oval on the map.
The volume of the place message can be adjusted in two ways. One, select the “Messages” Icon and select RSK “Options”. Go to Message Volume. Adjust as necessary. Two from the main menu go to RSK “Options”> “Preferences”> “General”>”Message Volume”>select LSK “Modify”> Adjust as necessary.

The Dashboard view is the default setting, but you can change this view to either 3D-Perspective view or 2D Top view by pressing ‘Options’, followed by ‘Change View’ or through Navigation Preferences in main menu options.
Alternatively, you change this setting through Navigation Preferences off of the main menu options.
Please make sure that GPS services is set to Location on. Please navigate to Options, then select Advanced Options, then select GPS and change the ‘GPS Services’ option to ‘Location On’ to resolve this issue. It is possible that your phone is set to get your location only when you dial 9-1-1. Please navigate to Options, then select Advanced Options, then select GPS and change the ‘GPS Services’ option to ‘Location On’.
Make your location setting is set to “Location On.” You may not be in GPS coverage area within the Cricket coverage area. Locate better coverage and retry your request.
It is possible that your phone is not in a good coverage area. You may not be getting service in the area where you are attempting to get a request. Move around safely and look for better coverage then attempt the request again.
