You must be a resident of a participating state to receive the Cricket Lifeline Credit. Only eligible consumers may enroll and the service is non-transferable. You must be the head of household and no one in your household can receive land or wireless Lifeline service from another provider. Lifeline can only be applied to ONE PHONE LINE PER HOUSEHOLD, and the name on the account must match the name of the person submitting the application. To receive the Cricket Lifeline Credit, you must live in Cricket’s designated service area, must meet your state’s qualifications, and must verify your qualification annually.
You can add the Cricket Lifeline Credit with no change to your existing features and functionality. You can also change to any current, Cricket Wireless rate plan if you’d like; there is no charge to make this change.

You can only receive Lifeline benefits on one phone line. To be eligible for the Cricket Lifeline Credit, you must contact your other phone company to remove Lifeline benefits from that phone line first.
Yes, but you’ll need to apply for the Cricket Lifeline Credit after you port your number. Lifeline eligibility is determined by your state. If you still meet your state’s qualifications for Lifeline, you’ll be eligible for the Cricket Lifeline Credit. Lifeline will not transfer from your previous phone company’s account; you must reapply for Lifeline for Cricket service.
