New customers buying a new phone from Cricket Wireless and existing customers upgrading their device or adding a line of service are qualified to participate. Of course you need to trade-up a used mobile phone. But don't worry the list of qualified phones is huge; you'll see when you start the process.
Not at this time. You must fill out an estimate online, buy your cricket phone, print your prepaid shipping label and mail-in your used device. Once your used phone is process a Visa Prepaid Card for the value given in your estimate.
Based on the age, model, functional nature and condition of the phone, the device may have no trade-in value. You may however, recycle the phone for free.
Clover Wireless is a 3rd party partner that we have selected to manage the trade-up program. They manage the trade-in web site, product receipt, customer service, and payment fulfillment.
Clover Wireless, Cricket’s Trade-in partner, will receive, sort, and clear all personal data from all working phones. Reusable phones will be re-marketed. Non-working phones will be recycled according to federal, state, and local laws.
The phone must be fully functional and must power up and be able to both send and receive a phone call. Additionally, there must be no liquid damage, no cracks in the screen, and no hinge damage. You must also have purchased a valid phone from Cricket and provided a valid ESN/IMEI during the trade up process.
