Global and Mexico Local Numbers will work with any Cricket Wireless phone and current Cricket rate plan. This product is not available for Broadband and PAYGo customers.
Depending on how you subscribe to the Global or Mexico Local Number feature there are different ways to handle this.
If Global or Mexico Local Number is included as a part of your rate plan: Since you receive Cricket local number as part of your monthly service there is no way to cancel the feature from your rate plan. If you have Global or Mexico Local Number as a plan add-on: You can cancel Cricket Local Number at any time but you will lose your local number in the city and country you selected. Your family and friends will no longer be able to call that number again. You can purchase Cricket Local Number again at any time but Cricket will give you a different number and you will need to share it with your family and friends again. To cancel Cricket Local Number log into My Account, click on "Add New Features", select the applicable line of service you wish to remove the feature from, uncheck the box next to the Global or Mexico Local Number feature, and continue through checkout process.
Yes. But in order to roam, you must have a plan that includes the roaming feature or you must purchase a roaming add-on. If you have used all the roaming minutes included in your plan or add-on, you can use your Flex Bucket funds. You also need to update your Preferred Roaming List (PRL) by dialing *228 before leaving Cricket’s Home Coverage area.
To change your Cricket Local number to a new city or country please follow these steps:
1. Log into My Account 2. Select the "My Local Number" link 3. Select the line of service you wish to manage 4. Arrive at the Cricket Local Number settings page 5. Select Reset button 6. Select "Yes, I want to reset" 7. Select new country, state, city, and number you wish to forward the local number calls to. 8. Receive new local number and confirmation that is has been setup successfully.
To remove your Cricket Local Number's existing setup please follow these steps:
1. Log into My Account 2. Select the "My Local Number" link 3. Select the line of service you wish to manage 4. Arrive at the Cricket Local Number settings page 5. Select Stop button 6. Select "Yes, I want to stop using this local number." 7. Receive confirmation message 8. Return anytime in the future to setup a new local number
