A 4G LTE capable phone from Cricket will work anywhere within Cricket’s nationwide coverage area however you will receive 4G LTE service only when in any of Cricket’s 4G LTE coverage areas. Outside of those areas data will continue to work. All 4G phones are also compatible our 3G EVDO/1xRTT data networks.
You can see which network you are using in the top left or right corner of the device, next to the network bars. Based on your location and available service, most phones will display 4G (4G LTE) , 3G or 1X.
