when i asked for detour, but cricket navigator displayed both detour and my route. why?

Cricket Navigator allows you to preview the segments of the detour before you decide whether you want the detour or rather stay on your current route.  If you are certain about the detour and just want to get the directions, press NAV and Cricket Navigator will display the new set of turn-by-turn directions.
