what do i need to do to prepare for the factory data reset?

Back up your contacts

• Go into Contacts
• Press the Menu button
• Select Import/Export (For Huawei devices select Manage Contacts/Back up Contacts to SD card)
• Select OK
• Return to home screen

Move applications you want to keep to the SD card (this only applies to applications you have downloaded from the Google Play Store, all others are restored automatically)

• Click on Settings
• Click on Applications
• Click on Manage Applications
• Click on the application you want to move
• Click on Move to SD card (if it is greyed out, it is not able to be moved)

After these steps have been done, it is a good idea to remove your SD card before performing the Factory Data Reset.
