can i show/hide the turn maps?

Yes.  From the main Cricket Navigator screen, select Menu (Left Soft Key), and then Preferences.  Select Turn Maps, then Download Turn Maps.  Use the Track Ball to choose whether to use the turn maps, and press OK to save the setting.
