Can I bring my own compatible phone? Yes, you may bring a phone that is compatible with Cricket's network, provided it does not harm our network, and activate it on one of our rate plans.
Do you utilize device locks or software protection applications on your devices? Yes, Cricket utilizes device locks and software protection applications. However, the device locks are usually set to a default code and you may obtain the default code by contacting customer care.

Fees and Surcharges:
Are additional fees and surcharges added to my bill? Cricket does not add additional fees or surcharges to a customer's bill. However, sales tax is added.
If so, what are they? Cricket is required to add sales tax and other point-of-sale use taxes.
How are Late Payment Fees calculated? Cricket does not charge a traditional late fee. Customers who do not pay for their service on or before their designated due date run the risk of having their service suspended.
Cricket is a no contract provider so it does not require a customer to take out a term contract.
How long is the trial period? Cricket permits a trial period of 30 day but the phone must have less than 30 minutes of "talk time" use and be in "like new" condition. For additional details, please review our Return Policy HERE.
What taxes, fees and other charges am I responsible for if I cancel during the trial period? If you cancel during the trial period you are responsible for shipping charges, the activation fees and service fee for the first month; these fees are non-refundable.
Is the activation fee refunded? No.
Will I be responsible for an Early Termination Fee if I cancel service during the trial period and don't return my device? Cricket is a no contract service so it does not impose Early Termination Fees like other providers.
Third Party Content:
What is third-party content? In addition to roaming, ringtones, and data services provided by Cricket, you can access premium and other features and services provided by third parties to which Cricket extends billing privileges by allowing you to pay for such third party features and services using your Flex Bucket.
Can I block charges for third party content from appearing on my bill? Yes
If so, how? You may restrict access to most premium and third-party services by simply not purchasing/establishing Flex Bucket services; or, if you already have Flex Bucket services, by not purchasing additional Flex Bucket services. Alternatively, you have the option to switch to a plan that requires use of your Flex Bucket to access premium services. These options are available to you at any time and at no additional cost.
Usage Management Tools:
What tools are available that will help me monitor and manage my data, text and voice usage? Cricket offers a wide array of devices, including smart phones like the Android and BlackBerry, some of which may offer a minute counter feature. What account management tools are available to restrict or limit phone use by minors? Cricket has implemented content filtering to block access illegal web sites. The list of web sites is validated and updated daily. Cricket also allows users to opt-in to prevent their handset from accessing mature content (content suitable for 18 years and older).
