Quick Start Instructions

  1. To start your Cricket service, just follow these easy instructions:
  2. Charge your battery overnight.
  3. Read these instructions and have a pen ready before you call to set up service.
  4. If you have signed up for Cricket service, a valid Social Security or Driver’s License Number will be required to activate your phone. Please have this information ready when you call to activate your phone.
  5. Once your battery is charged, call 1-800-CRICKET from a different phone.
  6. A Cricket representative will give you your new Cricket phone number. Please write this number in the green box on the inside of this brochure for future reference.
  7. Program your Cricket phone number into your Cricket phone using the instructions on the following page.

Programming Your PhoneKyocera Slider Instructions

  1. Turn on your phone with the red power/end button
  2. From the Main Screen (displaying time and date), enter 111111 (1 six times) then press OK
  3. Press the down button once to highlight “Programming”, and press OK
  4. You will see “Enter Security Code:”
  5. Enter 333333 (3 six times)
  6. You will see “Srvc Options”
  7. Press the down button once, then press OK
  8. Press and hold the BACK button for 2 seconds to remove the number
  9. Enter your new 10-digit Cricket  Mobile Identification Number (MIN) 
  10. Press the OK button
  11. Enter your 10-digit Cricket phone number (MDN) 
    1. Press the down button twice, then press OK
    2. Press and hold the BACK button for 2 seconds to remove the number
    3. Enter your 10-digit Cricket phone number (MDN)
    4. Press OK
  12. Press the red power/end button
  13. Programming completed. Your phone will reset.
