Steve Steakley Named Cricket District Director for Middle Tennessee
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Oct. 21, 2008 – Cricket Communications Inc, a leading provider of unlimited wireless services, has named Steve Steakley district director for Middle Tennessee. Steakley’s new responsibilities include managing Cricket’s sales and operations in the metro-Nashville region.

Steakley has 19 years experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Cricket, he served as the Nashville market indirect sales manager for Sprint, where he was responsible for managing the wireless company’s indirect sales operations in Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga and the Tri-Cities. He also served as a business sales manager and account executive for Cellular One, which was eventually purchased by Verizon. He began his career as a sales representative at Tennessee Business Communication Services.

Steakley earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Lipscomb University. He has been a racquetball professional at the Maryland Farms YMCA since 2000.
