For Cricket, Tucson is the New Hollywood
TUCSON - Cricket Communications, Inc., a leading provider of unlimited local and long distance wireless services, is searching Tucson for a face that could launch a thousand minutes. It's all part of the company's casting call to find the New Face and Voice of Cricket®.
Two professional casting directors from LA are interviewing rising stars at Cricket's Speedway store located at 4605 East Speedway from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 20. Interviews will be held in English and Spanish. "We are looking for customers who have fun and lively personalities and interesting stories to tell," said Cricket's Area General Manager Edye Popke. "We know by talking with our customers over the years that they are a really great group of people. Now we want others to know that too." In addition to fame, those who are chosen to be finalists will receive talent fees, a Kyocera phone and free Cricket phone service for a year.
Even if you aren't seeking the spotlight, the Speedway store is the place to be on April 20; all Tucsonians are invited to attend Cricket's Customer Appreciation Day. In addition to the casting call, there will be food and entertainment, such as mariachi bands, magicians, and face painters.
Additional details about the event, including rules and guidelines about the casting call, can be found at www.mycricket.com.
