9 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. K-Day Proclamation at City Council Meeting
El Paso City Council will declare Tuesday, January 31 "K-Day in El Paso."
12 p.m. - 2 p.m. A "K" in Your Name
Individuals with the letter K in their name may enter a drawing to win the Grand Prize Super Bowl Package at any Cricket retail location, I-10 and McRae (9801 Gateway West) or Fox Plaza, 5579 Alameda.
4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Fiesta and Mariachi Battle of the Bands at Fox Plaza
Cricket will be hosting a fiesta at Fox Plaza, as well as having a Mariachi "Battle of the Bands." Free tethered hot-air balloon rides will be available from 4 to 6 p.m.

11:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. Fort Bliss Unlimited Long Distance Calls Domestic and Abroad!
In appreciation of our great soldiers and their families, Cricket and Kyocera have teamed up with Fort Bliss MWR for Pay Day Free Activities at Fort Bliss Golf Course and Club. Cricket will provide free, unlimited long distance calls for soldiers and their families to call their loved ones throughout the United States or who are stationed oversees in Iraq, Afghanistan and other overseas locations. The event will include activities for children and the entire family! Kyocera will host a free golf scramble on a first come, first serve basis. Tents and jumping balloon will be provided by MWR. And, Cricket will provide the unlimited long distance, magicians, face painting, food and beverages.

Individuals who bring in a canned food to either I10 and McRae or Fox Plaza Cricket locations may enter to win a Grand Prize Super Bowl Package. The canned foods collected will be donated to the YWCA's Transitional Living Center.

Cricket will provide free tethered hot-air balloon rides at the Fort Bliss Golf Course and Club during the Free Pay Day Activities.

Cricket will partner up with Oasis Lanes and United Way's Youth Programs in a joint effort to raise money for programs benefiting our youth in El Paso. For every strike made at Oasis Lanes, 1660 Zaragosa, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Cricket will donate $1 to the United Way Youth Fund. Later in the evening the winners of the Grand Prize Super Bowl Package will be announced.
