Cricket says "Thank You" to Valley Veterans With Free Service
PHOENIX -Whether it be by phone, text message, voice-mail or in person, this Veteran's Day, Cricket Communications is encouraging everyone to take the time and thank those who serve America. Cricket's way of saying thank you is by offering 90-days of FREE unlimited wireless service to Valley veterans.
To take advantage of this offer, veterans need only to show their military ID at two select Cricket stores: in the East Valley at Sossaman and Broadway and in the West Valley at 75th Avenue and Bell.
"We join the rest of our country in support of our veterans and local heroes who have sacrificed for our freedom," said Dennis Maguire, area general manager for Cricket in Phoenix. "This is our way of giving what we can back to our community to show our support."
In addition to offering free unlimited wireless service, Cricket is celebrating Veteran's Day by sponsoring KOOL FM's "Thank You for Serving" campaign, a three week event that solicits and airs listeners "thanks" to local veterans. Running from November 1 - 11, "Thank You for Serving" also includes the Phoenix Veteran's Day Parade on Friday, Nov. 11, in which Cricket has entered a patriotic float.
