Cricket and Partners to Give Away 19 Phones and Car during Cinco de Mayo Event in Phoenix
PHOENIX - On Saturday, April 30, 19 lucky new Cricket customers will be celebrating alongside the winner of a brand-new 2005 Ford Focus at the 19th Annual City of Mesa Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Pioneer Park in Mesa.
"This Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is a celebration of culture, family and fun," said Matt Stoiber, area general manager of Cricket in Phoenix. "We want to add to the celebration by giving away our high-quality Cricket phones and service, as well as a car to thank the community for supporting us over the years. And we'll be out there having fun too."
As a highlight of the event, Cricket has teamed up with Arizona Ford Dealers and KLNZ 103.5 FM to give away a brand-new 2005 Ford Focus. Event participants will have a chance to register on-site for the car giveaway which is scheduled for 5 p.m. In addition, Cricket will award 19 people with a free Cricket phone and calling package valued at about $400 a piece that allows calling long distance to Mexico.
Saturday's event is fun for the whole family with live entertainment, children's activities, arts and crafts vendors, carnival rides and games.
