Cricket Makes Donation to the Santa Cruz Humane Society
NOGALES, ARIZ. – December 1, 2008 – Cricket Communications, Inc, a leading provider of unlimited wireless services, will donate 10% of all phone and accessory sales from its Nogales store on December 6 and 7, to the Santa Cruz Humane Society(SCHS). The donation is part of the one year anniversary celebration for the Cricket store on Grand Ave at the North Grand Court Plaza in Nogales. The donation will go toward the installation of new kennels in the Santa Cruz Humane Society campus on Patagonia Highway.
The Santa Cruz Human Society was established in 1986 to serve the communities of Nogales, Rio Rico, Patagonia Tubac and the Green Valley. The X square foot campus of SCHS cares for X animals annually. “We are very grateful to Cricket for this donation which will help us care for an additional X animals. This is a much needed donation especially during these difficult economic times,” said Antonio Velazquez, operations manager for SCHS.
The Cricket store is located at 377 N. Grand Ave in Nogales. The store will open one hour earlier at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7, to give people a chance to contribute towards the Humane Society donation.

brought Cricket’s wireless services to Nogales in October 2007 and we are grateful for the warm reception we’ve received in this first year of operations,” added McCutchan.
