Cricket Kicks Off A Nationwide Travel Time Roaming Promotion
San Diego, Calif. - Between now and January 9, 2006, Cricket Communications, Inc., a leading provider of unlimited wireless services, is enabling its new and current customers to sign up for its Travel Time roaming product for a discounted rate.
The Travel Time nationwide promotion offer includes 30 minutes of Travel Time for a $5 monthly recurring charge. Priced at approximately 17 cents per minute, this service can be used for domestic (including Alaska) and Canadian roaming.
"This new nationwide Travel Time promotion illustrates Cricket's continued focus on making wireless affordable and flexible for our customers," said Linda Wokoun, Senior VP of Marketing for Cricket. "Given the large number of our Cricket customers who want the flexibility to travel to different areas across the U.S. and into Canada, we continue to look at ways to make roaming even more cost-effective for them. We believe that this will be a successful promotion."
In addition, any customer who signs up for Travel Time will receive the first two months of service free. The 30-minute Travel Time $5 monthly recurring charge will continue even after the promotional period ends.
