Cricket Fills Up Omaha’s Gas Tanks

Omaha, NE - August 28, 2006– It will soon be much cheaper for Omaha residents to fill up their gas tanks, thanks to Cricket Communications, Inc, a leading provider of unlimited wireless services. The company announced today that they will fill up the gas tanks with up to 15 gallons of gasoline for only 99 cents per gallon from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 am. at the Speedee Mart located on 132nd & Grover Streets on Wednesday, August 30th. Cricket estimates that they will be able to service 100-150 cars in the given time period.

“This couldn’t come at a better time, with gas pricing reaching as high as $3.02 per gallon in Omaha,” said Dan Fowler, district director for Cricket in Omaha and Lincoln. “Cricket service is built on a foundation of value, and while gas prices may continue to rise, Cricket’s value remains the same at $45 per month.
