Cricket Communications Announces New District Director for Dayton Market

DAYTON ― March 27, 2009 ― Cricket Communications, Inc, a leading provider of unlimited wireless services, today announced that Kevin Jones, an eight-year veteran of the company, has moved from the Cincinnati market to take over the reins as district director for Cricket’s Dayton area.

Throughout his career with Cricket, Mr. Jones has steadily maintained a strong work ethic and desire to help the company to succeed. Mr. Jones joined Cricket in 2001 as a sales director, managing retail store productivity, creating incentive plans and rewards programs for employees, and developing promotions designed to attract customers. In 2006, he became the district director of Cricket’s Cincinnati operations, overseeing managers and associates in seven area stores, as well as 110 authorized dealers.

In his move to Dayton, Mr. Jones is excited for the opportunity to increase the company’s visibility in the market. Here, he will oversee four corporate stores and their associates, as well as another 70 authorized dealers throughout the greater Dayton market. His key responsibilities include developing strategies and programs for sales, marketing, public relations, finance, human resources, and customer operations, all leading to improved sales of Cricket wireless services.

“Cricket has really provided me with great opportunities for growth,” says Jones.  “I’m looking forward to working in the Dayton market and propelling Cricket’s image and services into the future.”
