Cricket Appoints Gregg Humphreys as Area General Manager for Arizona Region
PHOENIX – Aug. 13, 2008 – Cricket Communications, Inc, a leading provider of unlimited wireless services, has promoted Gregg Humphreys to area general manager for the Arizona region. Humphreys will oversee sales and distribution strategies, management and development teams, growth within the market, as well as market-share, revenue, and profitability objectives in Phoenix-Metro, Tucson, Nogales, and Casa Grande.
Humphreys has been with Cricket since 2000, previously serving as the district director in Charlotte and Greensboro N.C. With more than 18 years of experience in the wireless industry, he has held sales and management positions with Airtouch Cellular/Verizon Wireless and Cellular One/CMT Partnership in Phoenix and Las Vegas.
“I am excited to return to the Southwest. I have a history in this community and I am looking forward to the opportunity to return and help Cricket continue to grow here in Arizona,” said Humphreys.
Humphreys will be based out of Cricket’s Phoenix office and report directly to Matt Stoiber, regional vice president for the Southwest region.
