Cricket Announces New San Diego Area Marketing Manager
SAN DIEGO – March 20, 2009 – San Diego-based Cricket Communications, Inc, a leading provider of unlimited wireless services, today announced the addition of Milica Pugh to serve as area marketing manager for San Diego. Pugh brings more than ten years of marketing experience to her role, enabling her to provide strategic guidance to the San Diego leadership team and further build the company’s market share with its appeal as a value-priced wireless provider. With Pugh’s local market know-how and determination, the company is able to maximize corporate directives on the local level for marketing, promotions, public relations and advertising.
Pugh’s passion for the marketing process is evident in her everyday work, which creates an inspirational environment and a results-oriented and confident team. She began working with the Company in November 2008 and has set both individual and team goals for Cricket’s marketing campaigns to generate positive exposure that resonates with the company’s target audiences. She was attracted to join the company due to Cricket’s focus and ability to deliver on its core value in all of its marketing activities as the go-to wireless service provider for affordability – without typical barriers instated by the competition.
“We are proud to expand our team with the level of expertise Milica brings to the company,” said Randy Newman, area general manager for San Diego. “We have aggressive benchmarks to hit as Cricket expands its service area, products and services. It takes a strong leader to be able to prioritize the host of opportunities we have to achieve the best results.”
Pugh learned to hone in on the needs, demands and preferences of various consumers during her time working for such top companies as Mail Boxes Etc. and in bringing new brands to the forefront in their respective marketplaces as Jer’s Handmade Chocolates and The Oceanscience Group. In these roles she was instrumental in managing multi-faceted campaigns and supporting new corporate initiatives including major new launches and product deployments.
Pugh earned a Master of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University in 2005 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, San Marcos in 2003. She currently resides in Vista, Calif.
