Cincinnati and Columbus Added to Cricket's Dayton Service Region
DAYTON, OHIO - Starting June 20, Dayton-based customers of Cricket Communications, Inc., a leading provider of unlimited wireless services, will be able to enjoy unlimited calling throughout the Greater Cincinnati and Greater Columbus areas in addition to their Greater Dayton home calling area. In mid-July, even more value will be added to the Dayton Cricket package with the addition of Louisville and Lexington—all at no extra cost.
"The newly expanded Dayton/Cincinnati/Columbus market cluster is a great value for Cricket customers in Dayton, especially those who frequently travel to Cincinnati or Columbus," said Tim Corts, district director for Cricket's Dayton operations. "Whether you travel to these areas for business or pleasure, you just can't beat our unlimited calling plans that now include all three cities. Plus, with the addition of Lexington and Louisville next month, the value will grow even more."
Corts points to a combination of Cricket corporate strategy and local response to Dayton customer needs as the reasons behind the calling area expansion. Cricket Communications, Inc., based in California, has made a decision to cluster major U.S. markets together into combined calling areas in order to better serve its customers. "The expanded calling area will benefit regional business travelers, commuters and those who travel outside the Dayton area for shopping, socializing or entertainment," said Corts. "The addition of Cincinnati and Columbus more than doubles our regional calling area. In fact, we now offer the largest calling area of any other unlimited carrier."
