Quick Start/Read Me First

To start your Cricket® service, just follow these easy instructions:

Charge your battery overnight.
Read these instructions and have a pen ready before you call to set up service.
If you have signed up for Cricket service, a valid Social Security or Driver's License Number will be required to activate your phone. Please have this information ready when you call to activate your phone.
Once your battery is charged, call 1-800-CRICKET from a different phone.
A Cricket representative will give you your new Cricket phone number. Please write this down for future reference.
Program your Cricket phone number into your Cricket phone using the following instructions.

Press the [PWR/END] key to turn on the the telephone.
Press the [MENU +0.]
You will see - 1. NAM Keypad PGM.
Press the 1 key to enter the NAM 1 mode.
You will see - ENTER SPC or OTKSL.
Enter 333333 (3 six times).
You will see - 1. NAM1 Set Mode.
Press the 1 key to enter the Programming Mode.
You will see the following options -
1. MDN Edit
2. MIN Set
3. Home SID
Press the [1] key to enter MDN (Mobile Device Number) (phone number).
Enter your new 10-digit Cricket phone number (MDN) and press the left soft key [DONE], to store and exit.
You will return to the NAM1 Set Mode screen.
Press the [2] key to enter the MIN Set Mode screen.
Enter your new 10-digit Cricket MIN number (Mobile Identification Number) (phone number) and press the left soft key [DONE], to store and exit.
You will return to the NAM1 Set Mode screen.
Press the [3] key to enter the Home SID menu.
Press the [Menu, OK] key to enter your 5-digit Crickit Home Area SID (System Identifier), and press the left soft key, [DONE], to store.
Press the red [PWR/END] key to complete NAM provisioning. Your phone will be reset.

Keep in mind that when you start your service, you accept the terms and conditions enclosed with your phone upon shippment.
