Quick Start Instructions
To start your Cricket service, just follow these easy instructions:
- Charge your battery overnight.
- Read these instructions and have a pen ready before you call to set up service.
- If you have signed up for Cricket service, a valid Social Security or Driver’s License Number will be required to activate your phone. Please have this information ready when you call to activate your phone.
- Once your battery is charged, call 1-800-CRICKET from a different phone.
- A Cricket representative will give you your new Cricket phone number. Please write this number in the green box on the inside of this brochure for future reference.
- Program your Cricket phone number into your Cricket phone using the instructions on the following page.
Programming Your Phone
- Turn on your phone.
- Enter *#639# from the Standby Screen.
- You will see "Service Prog. Code:"
- Enter 333333 (3 six times).
- You will see "Own Number (MDN):"
- Enter your new Cricket phone number (MDN), then press (OK).
- You will see "Mobile ID Number (MIN)"
- Enter your new 10-digit Cricket Mobile ID number (MIN), then press "OK".
- You will see "Home digital SID:"
- Enter 2, and press "OK".
- Choose "Save and press "Select."
You can use the "Clear" button to clear the last digit entered. If needed, you can retry these programming steps up to 4 times.
