Quick Start Instructions
To start your Cricket service, just follow these easy instructions:
- Charge your battery overnight.
- Read these instructions and have a pen ready before you call to set up service.
- If you have signed up for Cricket service, a valid Social Security or Driver’s License Number will be required to activate your phone. Please have this information ready when you call to activate your phone.
- Once your battery is charged, call 1-800-CRICKET from a different phone.
- A Cricket representative will give you your new Cricket phone number. Please write this number in the green box on the inside of this brochure for future reference.
- Program your Cricket phone number into your Cricket phone using the instructions on the following page.
Programming Your Phone
- Turn on your phone (PWR button).
- From the Main Screen enter 74663# MENU MENU
- You will see "Enter Subsidy Password:"
- Enter 333333 (3 six times).
- Press right blue button to select OK.
- You will see "User Activation" Screen.
- Press right blue button to select NAM 1
- You will see MIN 000000XXXX
- Press right blue button to select CHANGE.
- Press left blue button 10 times to DELETE number.
- Enter your new Cricket Phone number.
- Press right blue button to select OK.
- Scroll down to: MDN 000000XXXX.
- Press right blue button to select CHANGE.
- Press left blue button 10 times to DELETE number.
- Enter your new Mobile Directory number.
- Press right blue button to select OK.
- Press left blue button to select DONE.
- Press left blue button to select Exit.
- Turn the phone off (PWR button) and turn phone back on to complete activation.
