Cricket Communications + Rebuilding Together = Big Wins for communities throughout the U.S.
Cricket and Rebuilding Together team up this fall to continue their platinum partnership with a series of renovation projects impacting neighborhoods in major cities across the country including — Chicago, Denver, Houston, Philadelphia, San Diego and Washington, D.C.
Through its premier sponsorship, more than 1,000 Cricket volunteers are expected to participate in Rebuilding Together renovation projects this year. Each of these events brings about a positive change in the life of a family through much-needed home repair such as panting, plumbing or landscape assistance; or community support, through multiple homes or a building receiving much needed loving care and cosmetic updates.
To date, Cricket volunteers made more than $850k worth of improvements to homes and community centers. In addition to donating a million dollars in cash to support the necessary home repair and community improvement service projects; Cricket is making product donations in the form of phones and service, broadband modems and service for local affiliates and homeowners for one year, and $2 million worth of national and local advertising in the form of Public Service Announcements to help raise awareness for this worthy organization and cause.
