The San Diego market, in partnership with our corporate office and other external organizations such as Qualcomm, Google, and Computers 2 San Diego Kids, delivered a very special opportunity to local students to get access to wireless internet in order to help them in their quest toward a more productive experience in attaining an education.
Under this program, Cricket has donated 500 broadband modems to qualifying students and their families starting in December 2010 and culminating with the final distribution event held last week where the beneficiary were students in the Migrant Education Program. Each student received a broadband modem with two years of wireless internet service, along with a computer contributed by C2SDK.
