For the first time, Cricket attended Nashville’s annual Taste of Music City Festival. The event, Nashville’s largest food and drink festival, gave attendees the opportunity to sample cuisine and beverages from more than 50 local restaurants. Event organizers estimated that 20,000 people attended.
Cricket was on the scene with an interactive tent in the event’s beer garden, near the main festival stage. The location gave attendees the chance to demo Muve Music and win food tickets in between a variety of entertainment acts including music and eating contests.
The event’s biggest success lied in its opportunity to demonstrate Muve Music and talk about Cricket smartphones to a wide spectrum of people from an array of demographic backgrounds. Cricket’s presence at Taste of Music City helped increase brand awareness to non-traditional Cricket customer bases. And several former Boost Mobile users were excited to have the opportunity to switch to Cricket and get a free Android on the spot.
