He is the only player in NCAA Division I history to receive the conference awards of Offensive Player of the Week, Defensive Player of the Week, and Special Teams Player of the Week in a single season.
After graduating from High School in Alabama, he attended the University of S. Mississippi in 2004, then in 2007 transferred to Nicholas State University where at the end of the season,Lardarius was named an AP 1st team All-American and finished 10th out of 28 finalist for the honorable Buck Buchanan Award presented in FCS football.
In the 2009 NFL Draft, Lardarius was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the 3rd round. He ended 2010
with 54 tackles (47 solo), 9 pass break-ups and 2 interceptions. In addition, he returned 21 punts for 199 yards(9.5 average). Following the season, he was praised for his ability to defend deep passes

The mission of the Lardarius Webb Foundation is to raise and distribute funds to provide aid to underprivileged children and their families. The primary purpose of the foundation is to keep young men and women off the streets and out of trouble, by giving them the knowledge, confidence, and support to achieve the positive goals they set. The foundation intends to ignite new interest in football for some and develop a deeper dedication for others. By teaming up with local businesses and individuals from Webb’s hometown of Opelika, Ala., and the Baltimore community, the foundation will develop youth programs that will provide youth strong examples of teamwork, dedication, courage, confidence and cooperation that they will use throughout the rest of their lives.
