On Tuesday, October 12th, volunteers from Cricket Phoenix built a ‘horticultural therapy’ area for ValleyLife, a non-profit organization that provides innovative programs and services for adults, elderly, and children living with a disability. ValleyLife gives these individuals the opportunity to live a life with choices, independence, and dignity. The students at the school were able to help participate in the creation of their new garden by planting vegetables and flowers. They were so happy to be part of the process and are excited to see their plants grow in the coming weeks.
