Cricket Brings Interactive Muve Trailer to Riverbend Music Festival

The Chattanooga Cricket team recently celebrated its ninth consecutive year as the wireless sponsor of Chattanooga’s Riverbend Festival. Cricket’s presence at this year’s event proved to be its biggest yet thanks to a custom-built, interactive Muve Music trailer. Over the nine-day music festival, the Chattanooga team performed hundreds of Muve and Cricket smartphone demonstrations for event attendees.
In addition, Cricket hosted these special activities:
- Text to Win Contest – Contestants entered to win a Samsung Suede with three months of free Muve service by texting “Muve” to a short code number.
- Musician Trivia – Cricket sponsored trivia questions about festival headliners that were broadcasted daily across the event’s jumbotron system.
Cricket also received additional exposure through banners and inclusion in the festival media tour – all for a completely in-kind trade. Overall, Cricket’s participation in the 2011 Riverbend Festival was a huge success and a fantastic opportunity to spread the word about Muve Music among the estimated 600,000 people in attendance.
