Baltimore Team Shares Cricket Love With some Furry Friends

Cricket Wireless recently took part in sponsoring the Maryland SPCA’s (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). March for the Animals event in Baltimore, Maryland. The March for the Animals is both an annual fund raiser and awareness event that allows (all kinds of) animal lovers to come together in support of our four (and sometimes two) legged friends who need a good home. Our Cricket team was there handing out fun prizes and offering people free trials of our Broadband internet card so they could share the fun from the March with others!

Cricket Las Vegas Team Helps Kids Get Back to School

Earlier this year, as kids and parents were busy picking out classes and getting in the last few days of summer before it ended, The Cricket Las Vegas team was on-hand to help local families get ready for the upcoming school year! The team sponsored four community events, organized by city councilmen, to provide school supplies for students, along with a fun, family-friendly night out.  The events were held in parks around the city and featured a back-to-school fair where guests received free school supply packs and enjoyed watching a movie in the park, complete with popcorn!

Cricket ‘Employs’ Green Solution For Less Green Pastures

When Cricket needed to clear blackberry brambles from its cell tower sites in Oregon, Keith Casey, network operations manager, called Georgina Stiner at Goat Rental NW.  It wasn’t long before 20 of Stiner’s best “employees” reported for their first day of work. This job is a trial for the company, but Casey said he expects to go on contract with Goat Rental NW for 30 or 40 of the company's approximately 260 cell sites in Oregon and Washington — the ones with the worst blackberry problem.
