Depending on the plan, other features are available such as text and picture messaging, mobile web, data backup and more.
International Long Distance allows Cricket customers to make calls to anywhere in the world. In order to make international long distance calls, customers can choose to buy a monthly plan add-on that gives you unlimited international long distance service or customers can use funds in their Flex Bucket to pay for international long distance calls on a per minute basis. The per minute charge depends on the country (see rates by country).
International Text Messaging allows you to send unlimited text messages to select wireless carriers in more than 100 countries. This service is included with some monthly plans or can be added on to any plan for just $5 a month.
Mexico Text allows Cricket customers to send text messages to any Mexican mobile phone.
Multimedia Messaging Service, also known as picture messaging. MMS-capable mobile phones allow you to send graphics, photos, audio clips or video clips, within certain size limits, to other mobile phones. Picture messaging is included in some monthly and PAYGo plans and can be added on to any monthly plan.
Mobile Web allows you to access the Internet from your phone, anywhere cell phone coverage is available. (Please note that not all web sites are Mobile Web compatible and the way a Mobile Web site looks on your screen can depend on the type of phone you have.) Mobile Web is included in some Cricket monthly and PAYGo plans and can be added to any monthly plan for just $5 a month.
MyBackup is Cricket's data backup service that keeps a record of all your phone contacts in case you lose your phone, or get a new one. With MyBackup, you don't have to worry about losing your phone numbers, even if your phone is damaged or lost.
MyHomeScreen provides quick access to web-based "widgets" from your Cricket phone including horoscopes, weather, sports scores, and your Cricket account information. Using MyHomeScreen, you can customize which widgets display and download the latest ringtones and graphics. MyHomeScreen is an included feature available on some phones at no additional charge.
Nationwide Roaming enables you to use your Cricket phone throughout the US and Canada when outside of areas included in your plan. Some monthly plans automatically come with a certain number of nationwide roaming minutes; you can also add roaming minutes to your plan each month as an add-on or pay for minutes as you go using Flex Bucket.
Nationwide Talk and Text refers to Cricket's wireless coverage area where customers can use their cell phone service to make and receive calls or text messages.
The Phone Replacement Program covers direct physical damage, accidental liquid damage, theft, lost phones, and mechanical or electrical failure once the manufacturer's warranty expires.
Ringback Tones allow you to select a song of your choice for callers to hear when they dial your number. You can assign specific ringback tones to particular callers.
Text Messaging (also called SMS). Allows short text messages to be sent and received on a mobile phone. Unlimited text messaging is included in many Cricket monthly and PAYGo plans and can also be added on to any monthly plan for just $5 a month.
Topping up means adding funds to your Cricket PAYGo account so you can continue to enjoy service whenever you need it. With PAYGo you pay for service only on days you use your phone. When your balance gets low, just top-up again to keep your Cricket PAYGo service active. Top-up cards can be purchased in $15 and $30 increments. Once you have a card, you can add additional funds to your account at any time.
Unlimited U.S. Long Distance allows you to call anywhere in the U.S. (except Alaska). Unlimited U.S. Long Distance is included in many Cricket monthly and PAYGo plans, and can also be added to any plan.
